Drake Takes Aim At Jay-Z on His New Track “Draft Day”

Now that he’s fresh off his tour, Drizzy Drake is back at it!

In preparation for Johnny Manziel (Texas A&M) and Toronto’s Andrew Wiggins (Kansas Jayhawks) entering the NFL and NBA draft, Drake dropped a song called “Draft Day.”

The song samples Lauryn Hill’s “Doo Wop (That Thing)” , but that’s not the only thing.

His rap  is dope but  is he taking shots at Jay Z?

“I heard they talking crazy, I was out of town. You know they love to pop all that s**t when I’m not around,” Drake raps. “But when I’m here, psst, not a sound.”

Could this be Drizzy’s response to a recent diss made by Jay Z?

Recently, Jay rapped on his “We Made It” freestyle. “Silly me rappin bout sh*t that I really bought. While these rappers rap about guns they ain’t shot…and a bunch of other silly sh*t that they ain’t got!”

How did this whole feud really start?

Well, Jay may not have said a word if it wasn’t for Drake saying, “It’s like Hov can’t drop bars these days without at least four art references! I would love to collect at some point, but I think the whole rap/art world thing is getting kind of corny.”

Fans were anxiously waiting to see if  Drake would respond to Jay Z’s diss  on the track “We Made It”. It took a  couple of weeks for Drizzy to finally respond, because he had been busy snuggling  up with pop sensation, Rihanna. Every deserves a little time with their boo, right?  But as soon as he go back in the booth he had a few words for Hov.

Drake once said, “Diss me and you’ll never hear a reply to it,” , but I guess Jay Z touched a nerve!

Listen to the track “Draft Day” below and tell us if you think he is referring to Jay Z!
