Mizzou Player Will Miss SEC Tournament Due To Not Paying Rent
I couldn’t believe it when I heard it, but it’s true ya’ll. Players usually get suspended from games for serious reasons, but this one has to be the funniest and saddest at the same time. Missouri forward, #3 Tony Criswell, will not be playing with the team for the SEC tournament. He owes $2700 in back rent. It’s not a game to be missing payments, especially rent payments!
According to St. Louis Post Dispatch, the Boone County Court Associate Circuit Division ruled last Thursday (after the viewing of court documents) that Criswell owed $2,717.57 in unpaid rent, plus an additional $823 in attorney fees and court costs. Someone help this man out so he can play in the tourney.
Let’s see how much of an impact this will make for Mizzou this season. Goodluck.
