Lupita Nyong’o And Cate Blanchett Grace The Cover of Entertainment Weekly


Lupita Nyong’o and Cate Blanchett are already Oscars winners in the eyes of Entertainment Weekly.

The Kenyan actress whose breakout role in 12 Years a Slave has made her an international superstar, is on the cover of Entertainment Weekly‘s new issue with her fellow nominee (not in the same category). Nyong’o is chic in a strapless sweetheart neckline white dress while Blanchett is all smiles wearing a nude long sleeve dress.

Blanchett is the front runner in the lead actress category for her role as a fallen socialite in Blue Jasmine and newcomer Nyong’o  is in the lead as supporting actress for  her breakout role as Patsey in 12 Years a Slave.  The to discuss the never-ending award, what they love most about their jobs and their hopes for the future.
